This book was pretty good. It had lots of action and was suspense filled. The funniest part in the book was when this guy tripped over a dog and shot him up. This book was about drug dealers in the 1900's, and about a boy's account of what happened to him. I would recommend this book to people who like to read mystery novels and action and adventure books. Why did the gang kidnap Reuben from the drug dealers?

Why did everybody try to kidnap Ruben? Would you do the same if you knew someone had a ticket worth thousands of dollars.

The book Black Duck is an entertaining story about alcohol and murder. Their is a lot of mystery and deception in the story and also some comic moments. This takes place during the years when alcohol was banned from the united states and smugglers would drive up in boats and sell beer and wine illegally. I think that it is a very fun read and i think you should read it if you get the chance.
